SIFRÁ AND POÁ. Following my trajectory of publications on BEAUTIFUL WOMEN in the BIBLE Now the BEAUTIFUL WOMEN will come in the Book of EXODUS. These two beautiful, were midwives and received an order. Kill the children of Hebrew women. However, the midwives feared God and did not do as the king of Egypt had told them, but kept the children alive. Then the king of Egypt called the midwives and said to them, Why did you do this, leaving the children alive? And the midwives said to Pharaoh: It is that the Hebrew women are not like the Egyptians; because they are alive, and have already given birth before the midwife comes to them. So God did good to midwives. And the people grew, and became very strong. And it came to pass that, as the midwives feared God, he established houses for them.
